The opening kilometers are fast and allow runners to settle into a good rhythm, passing over the Pont del Cros and through the port area. Some narrow sections may appear, so pacing the start is important.
After the seafront section, the most demanding part arrives: a short but steep climb under the railway tracks, requiring a brief adjustment in effort.
The final stretch is favorable, with a long straight where runners can progressively increase pace towards the finish. Merging with 10K runners may create some congestion, but overall it’s a fast and enjoyable race.
