About 46ª El Corte Inglés Race
The El Corte Inglés Race is one of Barcelona's most iconic popular races, with decades of history and thousands of participants each year. It will be held on May 10th and remains free to enter, with 40,000 bib numbers available, making it an open race for runners of all levels, from competitive athletes to amateurs. The race follows a 10km urban circuit certified by the Catalan Athletics Federation, passing through some of the city's most iconic streets. The starting line is on Avinguda Diagonal, in front of El Corte Inglés Diagonal, and the finish line is located in Plaça Catalunya. Beyond being a sporting event, the race has a strong social and charitable component: each year it partners with a charity (in recent years, the Xana Foundation) to raise awareness for impactful causes. For many, it's a running festival in the city: people of all ages, a friendly atmosphere, and the enjoyment of the sport in a spectacular urban setting.
