The Cursa Popular Ciutat de Badalona, popularly known as the Cursa del Dimoni, is one of the most iconic races in the Catalan running calendar. Held in Badalona during the traditional Festes de Maig celebrations, this event combines sport, local tradition and a festive atmosphere in a unique seaside setting.
The 2026 edition will feature several inclusive race formats, including 1.7 km, 5 km and 10 km distances, as well as adapted and children’s races. All courses start and finish on the Badalona Rambla and pass through key areas of the city center and seafront, offering a dynamic, accessible race with a fantastic atmosphere.
The Cursa del Dimoni stands out for its festive and community spirit, with family activities, music, entertainment and a popular fideuà meal for participants.
