What is the route of the Cursa Nou Barris 2026
The Cursa Nou Barris features one of the most challenging 10K courses in Barcelona, with a hilly profile that requires careful pacing. The race starts on Passeig d’Andreu Nin, with a relatively comfortable opening section.
After passing through carrer Escòcia and Arnau d’Oms, the first significant climb begins on carrer Piferrer, near the Can Dragó area. The course continues along Avinguda Rio de Janeiro, with out-and-back sections.
From km3 onwards, the course becomes tougher with climbs on Passeig de Valldaura and especially Via Júlia, one of the most demanding points. A key downhill section follows where runners can recover.
The final kilometers pass through Plaça de la República and Passeig de Verdum, before heading towards Fabra i Puig and carrer Vèlia. The race finishes through Parc de Can Dragó, with a slightly uphill final stretch.
